I decided to do a bit of blogging about the development of Fading Hearts and Sakura River in general.

First thing I'd like to talk about is how some people got the impression that we're bigger than we really are. It's probably a sign of the talent we got working on the project which is really great. But we got less people working on it than at least one VN free project out there. We're far more indie than you guys think.

For those who are wondering where is Fading Hearts Parallel V2 is, it's being worked on as it's going to be very different from V1. We're still waiting for the art assets to come in for the full Fading Hearts game. We were testing various things from Fading Hearts Parallel and got information.

For those of you who missed V1, getting ending 1 in Parallel V1 probably caused a lot of hairs to be pulled. It was like having a really hard bonus boss in RPGs to be a boss in the main storyline. "That one boss" so to speak. While we still want to include really hard-to-find secrets in our products, we'll make them 'optional' in that you don't have to find them to get "100%" completion. So that means we'll probably have 100% +X% completion ratings in future projects.

Also, we'll probably include something like achievements in the Fading Hearts so that people know when they have done something right.

That's it for now. It's time to get back working now.

IGW Free DLC in Production and Next Game in Planning

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that the free DLC for Infinite Game Works is in production now. Also the next project(s) is in the planning stages. They would be IGW Episode 1 and Don't Save the World: An RPG.

More info at a later date! We're still alive though.

Game Events Adventures: Episode 2 ~ December Toronto Anime Convention 2011

Welcome to the second episode of Game Events Adventures! This time I headed to the December Toronto Anime Convention to sell hard copies of our game! No electricity this time but man it was packed in the small room.

This time I used the almost one-man-exhibit kit where I held 2 boxes in my arms, a backpack, 2 foam boards, a tripod (shoulder strap carrying), and art tube (with shoulder strap).

Starting to think that maybe I shouldn't spend so much on electricity at these. Though I'm starting to see a little saturation in the market so far but not too bad. I really got to finish up the IGW additional content patch and start the next project.

Game Events Adventures: Episode 1 ~ DIG London 2011

I seem to have a lot of crazy adventures attending game conferences and anime conventions. So I decided to try and write about it in order to inspire/scare others to do the same by giving a taste of what it's like... at least with me anyways. I should write a book about it.

I'm heading to DIG London! This is in hopes to meet some publishers and pitch my game concepts to them.

Mindless details after the break.
